- To Provide the Core Service: The primary use of your documents and URLs is to extract the text content and generate a summary and analysis for you.
- To Improve User Experience: We store your processed documents and their summaries in your account so you can access them at any time.
- To Maintain Your Account: Your account information is used to secure your access to the service and your documents.
4. Data Processing and Third-Party Sharing
Email Service Provider: Resend
To deliver emails and manage our mailing list, we use Resend.com as our email service provider.
- Your email address and basic signup information are stored in Resend's systems for email delivery and audience management
- Resend processes this data solely for the purpose of sending you emails on our behalf
- We do not share additional personal information beyond what's necessary for email delivery
- Resend is SOC 2 Type II compliant and maintains enterprise-grade security standards
AI Processing: OpenRouter
To provide our summarization service, we use a third-party AI service provider, OpenRouter.
- The text content extracted from your submitted documents or URLs is sent to the OpenRouter API for processing.
- This is done solely for the purpose of generating the summary and analysis as requested by you. We do not share your personal account information with OpenRouter.
- We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or document content to outside parties for marketing or other purposes.
We encourage you to review both Resend's and OpenRouter's privacy policies to understand how they handle data.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Temporary Storage: Your original uploaded files are stored temporarily on our secure servers (provided by Supabase) for processing and are deleted after the text has been successfully extracted.
- Permanent Storage: The extracted text content and the final generated summary are stored securely in your account's database to allow you to access them later.
- We are committed to protecting your data and implement reasonable security measures provided by our infrastructure partner, Supabase, to safeguard your information.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have comprehensive control over your data and communications:
Email Communications
Complete Unsubscribe Options
You can stop receiving emails from us at any time using multiple convenient methods.
- Before Verification: Click "Cancel subscription" in any verification email or use the unsubscribe link in the footer
- After Verification: Click "Unsubscribe" in any email footer to be immediately removed from all future communications
- Complete Data Removal: Unsubscribing removes your email from both our database and our third-party email service (Resend)
- Permanent Action: Once unsubscribed, your data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- Re-subscription: You can sign up again at any time if you change your mind
App Data
- Access: You can access all your processed documents and their summaries through the app at any time.
- Document Deletion: You have the right to delete individual documents from our service. When you delete a document, its associated records and stored text files are permanently removed from our systems.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your entire account at any time through your account settings. This action is permanent and will result in the deletion of all your data, including your user profile, uploaded documents, and generated summaries.
